Indian Visa For Croatian and Japanese Citizens

Whether you are a Croatian or Japanese citizen, you can travel to India for a period of up to 30 days. However, if you plan on staying in India for longer than this period, you will need to apply Indian Visa for Croatian Citizens & Indian Visa for Japanese Citizens .

EU Citizens Don’t Need Visas for Stays of any Length

Unlike many other countries, European Union citizens are free to travel to other member states without a visa. The right of free movement is defined by the EU Directive 2004/38/EC. It also recognises the right of free movement of family members.

However, some nationalities will require a visa before travelling to the Schengen area. In most cases, you will need to apply for a visa at the nearest foreign embassy. In other circumstances, you may be able to obtain a visa on arrival.

A visa is issued to a third-country national if he or she meets the requirements set out in EU regulations. This includes a valid passport and a non-refundable processing fee. Whether you are a Croatian citizen, Japanese or other national, an electronic India visa is a sufficient entry permit. It can be obtained online in a few simple steps and is valid for travel within India.

The e-Visa is issued by the Government of India. It is valid for travel to all 29 airports in India and on land-based immigration checkpoints for road travellers.

For most travelers, the process of applying for an e-Visa will take no more than 3 minutes. The application includes a digital photo and the biographical page of the passport. It also requires payment in any of 137 currencies.

Upon completion of the e-Visa application, a confirmation email is sent to the applicant. The e-Visa is not a visa and is not stamped by the Indian Embassy. It is, however, an auxiliary verification. It should take 2 to 6 working days to be processed and should be presented at the port of entry.

Can I Get an eVisa at the Border

Whether you have an eVisa or not, you need to carry your passport with you at all times when you are traveling. In addition to your passport, you will also need an onward journey ticket. If you are not sure what you need, you should contact your nearest international immigration office.

The eVisa application can be completed online. You will need to provide a few documents and fill out the application. This can take between 10 and 15 minutes. You will need to upload your recent front facing photograph and one additional document. You will also need to pay the e-visa fee. The fee can be paid by debit or credit card. You will also have to pay a 2.5% bank transaction charge.

When applying for an e-visa, you must have a valid passport from a country that is in the e-Visa Permitted Countries list. If you have a passport from a country that is not on the list, you will need to apply for a regular visa.
