With the season already underway, we’ve seen some impressive Fantasy Football teams come out of the woodwork. But who has been the most impressive? Here are our picks for who should be your team of the season so far:
Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne
Who are you playing in the Premier League?
The most expensive player in the Premier League is Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne. He has scored more goals than any other midfielder in Europe this season and created more chances than anyone else too. It’s no surprise that he tops our team of the season!
Manchester United’s David de Gea, who has kept more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper in Europe this season.
This season, David de Gea has kept more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper in Europe’s top five leagues. In fact, he has made the most saves in the Premier League and Europe’s top five leagues combined.
He is also the most expensive goalkeeper on Manchester United’s books, having cost them £18m from Real Madrid last summer. De Gea has been fantastic for Jose Mourinho’s side this season – at times it seems as though no one else can stop him!
Liverpool forward Mo Salah is second in the Premier League scoring charts.
Liverpool forward Mo Salah is second in the Premier League scoring charts. He has scored 20 times this season, four more than Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez Premier League player.
The Egyptian has been at the heart of Liverpool’s success this campaign, with his pace and skill causing problems for opponents at both ends of the pitch. The 26-year-old also offers an attacking threat from set pieces as well as being an excellent finisher himself – he has scored in three out of four penalty areas (four if you count crosses).
Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has created more chances than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues.
After playing a major role in Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday, Christian Eriksen was named man of the match by Sky Sports. The Dane scored Spurs’ first goal and assisted Harry Kane for the second in their midweek clash with Huddersfield Town.
Eriksen has created more chances than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues this season:

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is the fourth-highest scorer in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
It’s not all about goals, though. Giroud has also contributed to Chelsea’s strong defensive record since he joined the club in January. He has helped them keep 10 clean sheets so far this season, which is more than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues.
Giroud netted twice against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday as Chelsea came from behind to win 3-1 at Stamford Bridge. It was his 17th goal for the club this season and his second hat trick since signing from Arsenal last year
The most impressive Fantasy Football team so far this season
- Kevin De Bruyne, FWD – The Belgian is one of the most impressive Fantasy Football players this season. He has been instrumental to Manchester City’s success and has scored 11 goals in all competitions so far.
- David de Gea, GK – The Spaniard is a consistent performer for Manchester United with 16 clean sheets already this term. He also has five saves and two blocks so far this season which shows why he is such an important part of their team.
- Mo Salah, FWD – Liverpool’s star man has been leading the way with 15 Premier League goals this season despite not starting every match due to his short suspension from international duty! His form makes him one of the best attackers around right now even though he hasn’t had much luck finding the back of net lately like last year when he scored 32 times during his debut campaign at Anfield (including four hat-tricks).
